In Our Life: Now & Forever, developer GB Patch Games overhauled the franchise's relationship mechanics, replacing Cove Holden’s numeric comfort and interest meters with the intuitive, multi-dimensional Relationship Dynamic System.

This system divides into two interconnected pillars: Relationship Standing (the social and romantic category of your mutual bond) and Expression Elements (your character’s attitude and dialogue style).

Qiu Dynamic: Polite exchanges over baked goods, pleasant greetings at the mailbox, and quiet, courteous respect.

In *Our Life: Now & Forever*, GB Patch Games officially supports a polyamorous romance path! The Main Character can date both Tamarack and Qiu simultaneously in a V-relationship (where both love the protagonist).

Key Polyamorous Mechanics:

You do not have to pick between Tamarack and Qiu; you can express romantic interest in both across the steps.
Relationship Standing and Expression styles can still be tailored uniquely for each partner.
Unique group dialogue moments occur during shared scenes, acknowledging the special three-way bond.
Step 4 includes a formalized polyamorous commitment option.

Jealousy ON

When you spend focused romantic attention on one lead in front of the other, the other may display subtle, endearing, or bashful jealousy (e.g., pouting, clearing their throat, or seeking your attention next).

Jealousy OFF

Interactions remain completely harmonious and friction-free, with both leads reacting with pure enthusiasm and supportive joy whenever you interact with either of them.
